Following up on the Disaster Recovery information sessions held on August 10, this free webinar will outline the Santa Clara County non-governmental organization (NGO) disaster coordination process from preparedness through recovery.
As the emergency management collaborative for Santa Clara County NGO’s we specialize in facilitating communication, coordination, and collaboration. We’ll outline how to plug into the network before, during and after disasters to maximize the use of our local resources and reduce duplication of effort. Discussion will include communication methods and how to work alongside organizations with similar interests (Children, Food, Feeding, Seniors, Animals, Unhoused, Shelter/Housing, Mental Health, Spiritual Care, Immigrants, Access and Functional Needs.)
There is more work to be done and we need your input!
Training sponsored by Bay Area UASI Training.
Special accommodations for this webinar must be requested at least 72 hours in advance. Thank you!
