In collaboration with County Health Officer Dr. Sara Cody and the County Emergency Operations Center, Supervisor Cindy Chavez and the Santa Clara County COVID-19 Community Ambassador Program (CAP) invite you to join us next Monday for an Emergency Call to Action.
The State’s current target date for re-opening is June 15. During this 30 minute convening, Dr. Cody will discuss what this will look like here in the County, and what we still need to do to best position ourselves for a full and safe re-opening.
As of 5/13/21, 55.1% of those 16 and older have completed their vaccinations, and 74% of those 16 and older have gotten at least one vaccine dose – a tremendous accomplishment that would not have been possible without your continued leadership in getting the word out! The end of the tunnel is coming into view, but we’re not there yet. We need everyone to make a big push – towards reaching our stated vaccination goals, changing our mask guidance, holding concerts and other events, and re-opening on June 15!
