Business & Neighborhood Community Support Network Kick-off Meeting

Keeping Businesses and Neighborhoods Strong Before, During, and After Disasters

This Network will bring together businesses, CERT teams, neighborhood associations, homeowner associations, and community-based organizations — anyone who plays a role in keeping our local economy and neighborhoods strong.

Why now? In a disaster, local government resources may be stretched thin. Businesses and community organizations often know their people best — employees, clients, neighbors — and are trusted voices when it comes to sharing information, identifying needs, and supporting recovery.

At this first meeting, we’ll:

• Connect businesses and community organizations with one another.
• Explore how we can support each other during disaster response and recovery.
• Shape how this Network will function going forward (how often to meet, when to meet, and what to focus on).

Your voice is essential. Together, we can make sure no one falls through the cracks when our community needs us most.
