Collaborating in Disaster Response and Recovery!

California VOAD partners,

We invite you to an exciting one-day in-person conference and training hosted by Northern California VOAD. This event will focus on disaster response and recovery best practices and offer valuable opportunities for training, discussion, and networking. The event will be held in three different locations throughout Northern California during the first week of November. Please see event details and registration below.

Nov 8, Northern Valley Catholic Social Services, Redding, Session III Registration

Event Details:

Time: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (Registration Opens 9:30 am)

Meals: Coffee, drinks, snacks, lunch and networking dinner provided

Agenda: We have an exciting lineup of national, state, and local speakers with decades of experience in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery:

  • Session I: What is VOAD and why you should be connected to your local VOAD
  • Keynote Speaker: Aaron Titus, Crisis Cleanup, How to Prepare for Everything
  • Session II: Disaster Response with speakers from Cal OES, local emergency managers, and American Red Cross
  • Session III: Recovery with a panel of speakers discussing long term Recovery, disaster case management, spiritual and emotional care, and the rebuilding process.

Ticket Limitations: Please limit the number of attendees to 3 people per organization per region.
